The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor and senior engineer, performing operations and maintenance duties, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over supervisory and nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Requirements and Optimization Sub-Element, Operations Engineering Element. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Civil Engineer Requirements & Optimization Section (CEOER), ensuring that engineering activities complies with higher headquarters requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents the 628 Civil Engineer Squadron Requirements and Optimization Section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Directs Effective Oversight and Management of the Requirements and Optimization's Customer Service Unit (CSU).
