The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Operations Flight.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Flight. Represents the Flight with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Communicates and coordinates Flight issues with higher headquarters, regulatory agencies, other installation units, community officials, etc.
Directs the development and execution of Flight budget and work classification system in support of engineering/operations planning and execution.
