Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Chief, Material Acquisition, responsible for the management of the logistical support functions of Eagle Hardware for the 718th Civil Engineer Squadron, Kadena Air Base, and outlying work sites.

The program and work directed deals with logistics management, with primary emphasis on centralized operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the organization with responsibility for the development of a segment of as supply program for 18 Civil Engineering Group. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Makes periodic and comprehensive assessment and evaluation of program goals, objectives, which will provide a basis for long-range planning to enhance the organization's management capabilities.

Represents the Material Acquisitions Unit with higher levels within the organization and contractor organizations.
