Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Supervisor, Forces Division (Assistant Division Chief) and Task Force Coordinator, Forces Division, Operations Directorate, Central Command (USCENTCOM) and senior command subject matter expert (SME) for Global Force Management (GFM). Shares with the Division Chief the full scope of responsibilities for managing the activities of the division, possessing the same authority and prerogatives.
Oversees numerous complex and varied day-to-day operational support activities. Duties Plans, organizes, and oversees the current and future activities of the HQ USCENTCOM, Operations Directorate, Forces Division. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Actively influences HQ USCENTCOM strategy for the employment of force rotations, emergent requirements, and other military capability necessary to meet USCENTCOM operational and United States strategic objectives. Represents USCENTCOM with a variety of operational and functional area organizations.
