WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Health Scientist, you will: Provide expert consultation and response to public health officials, scientists, and administrators on effective STD control guidelines and strategies, and presents in national, international and internal forums in the field of STD prevention, control, and evaluation. Lead, plan, direct and advise on a broad portfolio of intramural and extramural programmatic and operational procedures, as well as evaluation and epidemiologic studies, and works closely with Division senior management to translate into recommendations for policy and program implementation thereby improving opportunities for achieving established Branch and Divisional goals. Prepare or supervise the preparation of all reports, articles, or monographs describing findings from projects, programmatic efforts, or studies. Serve as Chief, PDEB, and direct a staff charged with providing the DSTDP, NCHHSTP and CDC with high quality consultation and technical and fiscal expertise to assist current DSTDP grantees with the operation of their programs.
