Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
This Supervisory Human Resources Specialist provides comprehensive management advisory and technical services related to performance management, employee benefits and time and attendance. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Supervisory Human Resources Specialist support for Programs in the Human Resources Section, the Administrative Division, in the U.S.
Attorney's Office, District of Columbia, located in Washington, District of Columbia, focusing in the areas of comprehensive recruitment and placement, selection and merit promotion, position classification and position management, human resource development and training, employee benefits, employee relations, personnel security; and other special program functions.
Typical work assignments will include: Plan and direct work to be accomplished by the personnel programs staff in accordance with priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments. Explain work requirements, processes, methods, and procedures. Educate employees on federal employee benefits, retirement and oversees the benefits program.
Oversee and manage the performance management program, including performance, incentive awards and beneficial suggestion programs, by educating and advising managers and supervisors.
