Serves as first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over employees assigned to the Staffing, Affirmative Employment and Career Program Branch.
In addition, subject position is the primary advisor to Career Management Board (CMB) and to the Manager Development Council (MDC) for ART officers. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the unit/DPCS, ensuring that recruitment, placement and affirmative employment as well as the ART Officer career program comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Represents the unit, in negotiations and discussions with lateral commands, USAF, other agencies and OPM as well as unit organizations in regard to the development and adaptation of recruitment, placement, affirmative employment and career program management policies and processes. Provides recruitment. placement. affirmative employment and ART Officer career program management, ensuring effective operation and maintenance of these command programs.
Provides staff assistance and evaluation assessments of field civilian personnel offices.
