1. Leads strategic oversight and decision making for the development, implementation, and sustainment of AFTAC's IT architecture, ensuring alignment with the AFTAC Chief Data and Information Officer's (CDIO) vision, center-level objectives, Air Force priorities, and DoD directives. 2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. 3.
Leads the strategic planning and policy development for AFTAC's IT and communication systems, ensuring alignment with center-level objectives, Air Force priorities, and DoD directives. 4. Represents AFTAC as a senior IT leader, advocating for the organization's IT priorities and strategic objectives in engagements with internal and external stakeholders, including senor officials, interagency partners, and industry leaders. 5.
Provides strategic leadership in long term planning, program evaluation, and workforce development to advance AFTAC's global mission.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
