The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Chief, Intelligence Training Branch, serve as a supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Intelligence Training Branch, Readiness Division, Directorate of Intelligence, Headquarters Air Combat Command.
- Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the ISR Forces Training and Development Branch, ensuring that intelligence training program development complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and intelligence objectives. - Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. - Represents ACC/A2 with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with subordinate, lateral, and superior intelligence activities at unit, NAF, MAJCOM, HAF, and national intelligence community levels. - Performs technical non-supervisory duties such as the command intelligence training manager and Command Intelligence Personnel Training Program (CIPTP) program manager.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
