The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to 502nd Logistics Readiness Squadron. Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Equipment Accountability Element, and the areas of Equipment Accountability complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements. Represents 502 Logistics Readiness Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
Directs the daily operations of the Equipment Accountability Element (EAE) and maintains full accountability of base-level assets, supplies, and equipment across Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA).
This position is with Air Education and Training Command, Department of the Air Force.
