Job Summary

As a Supervisory IT Acquisitions Project Manager at the GS-0301-14, you will be part of Office of the Chief Information Officer Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will lead IT acquisition and project management activities, oversee contract and agreement administration, supervise acquisition and project management staff, manage acquisition projects and risks, and provide acquisition performance information and recommendations to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise acquisition and project management staff by planning and assigning work, establishing priorities, evaluating performance, identifying training needs, and carrying out personnel management responsibilities. Manage IT acquisition projects from requirements definition through contract administration and closeout, including project scope, schedules, resources, costs, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.

Oversee a portfolio of IT contracts, task orders, and interagency agreements, including Contracting Officer's Representative activities, contract performance, funding, documentation, invoices, and compliance. Lead development of IT acquisition requirements and pre-solicitation packages, including performance work statements, objectives, deliverables, performance standards, and market research.

Monitor contractor performance and acquisition risks, resolve or elevate performance and compliance issues, and advise acquisition officials and program stakeholders on recommended actions. Analyze project, contract, funding, and performance information and prepare reports, briefings, metrics, and data visualizations to support acquisition, budget, and resource decisions.
