The primary purpose of this position is to exercise first level supervisory and managerial authorities over the Maintenance Requirements Section with responsibility for aircraft/trainer maintenance formal and on-the-job training programs, maintenance manpower authorizations and personnel management for the Maintenance Division staff and AETC. Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and directs the complex logistical and sustainment activities of the Maintenance Requirements Section, serving as the command's primary technical authority for maintenance training, manpower, and personnel integration. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibility.
Represents the Maintenance Requirements Section, Maintenance Management Branch and Directorate of Logistics with a variety of HQ USAF and AETC staff agencies, other MAJCOM's, AETC Numbered Air Force, AETC wing/group/squadron and various civil service and civilian contractor organizations.
Directs and integrates command-wide logistics sustainment programs, specifically the planning and execution of aircraft maintenance and contract surveillance training for a ~10K military, civil service, and contractor workforce.
This position is with Air Education and Training Command, Department of the Air Force.
