Job Summary

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol Headquarters, Strategic Planning and Analysis Directorate, located in Washington, D.C. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

Major Duties

This position starts at a salary of $143,913.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $187,093.00 (GS-14, Step 10). As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, typical duties include: Supporting strategic planning and decision-making for major mission and administrative programs, ensuring effective program operations and alignment with organizational priorities. Managing and overseeing the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of mission-oriented administrative programs and projects. Supervising, leading, and developing subordinate staff, including assigning work, evaluating performance, providing training, and addressing personnel matters. Serving as a senior program manager and advisor to leadership; formulating program goals and plans; and representing the division at meetings and conferences. Ensuring compliance with federal, DHS, and CBP policies and procedures in all program management and administrative activities, including budget, acquisition, and personnel actions.
