This position is located at the Clement J. Zablocki Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI (695) within VISN12 Clinical Contact Center (CCC) .
The incumbent serves as Supervisory Medical Support Assistant (MSA) in VISN 12 Clinical Contact Center (CCC) as part of an interprofessional healthcare team. Supervisory MSA provides support across multiple ancillary and interprofessional clinics and determines the needs of the Veteran/caregiver.
The Supervisory MS duties included, but not limited to : Evaluating the work of subordinate staff; Resolving complex problems to ensure patient services are met; evaluating new products, equipment and systems to make recommendations for improved operations; Identifying educational or training needs; Making final decisions on hiring selections; Evaluating performance, and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 8:00pm CST Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is a virtual position. Remote: This position currently has an approved exemption to be remote. Remote work is defined as full-time employment conducted outside of a VA facility or in VA-leased spaces. The option for remote work will be assessed continuously, and the selected individual may need to return to a VA office if required.
