The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise second level supervisory and managerial authority over the Military and Family Readiness Flight assigned to the Force Support Squadron.
1. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Military and Family Readiness Flight. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and Military and Family Readiness Flight objectives to build and enhance installation unit and family readiness through center-based, unit-based and community outreach delivery. 2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters. Selects candidates for positions taking into consideration skills, qualifications, and mission requirements. 3. Represents the Force Support Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other base organizations, senior leadership, squadron commanders, and representatives from other military services, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and related civilian organizations regarding services provided. 4.
Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for Military and Family Readiness programs to ensure Develops, monitors, and analyzes applicable statistical data, to include AFFIRST documentation, of all program areas to track operating programs, evaluate their effectiveness, applicability to strategic goals, and plan improvements.
