Summary Statement: The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise second level supervisory and managerial authority over the Military and Family Readiness Center assigned to the 802d Force Support Squadron. Serves as consultant to commanders and installation level leadership on matters related to personal and family readiness.
Provides a wide range of work/life services to units and their leadership on individual, family and community issues to develop resilient, ready Airmen.
These services include, but are not limited to, deployment support, crisis and disaster response support, career, transition, relocation, financial assistance, personal and work life education, exceptional family member support, emergency response/assistance, Soldier for Life, family life education and other work and life service and activities provided to military members, retirees, Department of Defense (DOD) civilian members, and their families.
Duties: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Military and Family Readiness Center. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the Force Support Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for Military and Family Readiness programs to ensure operations are in line with regulatory and fiscal requirements, support goals, and mission requirements.
