The primary purpose of this position is to exercise first level supervisory and managerial authority over the Military and Family Readiness Flight assigned to the Force Support Squadron. Serve as consultant to commanders and installation level leadership on matters related to personal and family readiness.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Military and Family Readiness Flight.
Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and Military and Family Readiness Flight objectives to build and enhance installation unit and family readiness through center-based, unit-based and community outreach delivery. Represents the Force Support Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other base organizations, senior leadership, squadron commanders, and representatives from other military services, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and related civilian organizations regarding services provided.
Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for Military and Family Readiness programs to ensure operations are in line with regulatory and fiscal requirements, support goals, and mission requirements.
