This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10). In this Supervisory Mission Support Specialist position, you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals analyzing and refining existing work methods and developing new methods and procedures.
Typical work assignments include: Supervising a group of administrative employees who are responsible for assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations or who analyze and resolve problems in the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative support and staff activities. Planning the work to be accomplished by your subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, prepare schedules for completion of the work.
Providing complex administrative services, including, but not limited to, financial management, management and information systems, budget, finance, procurement, personnel, telecommunications, logistics, records and files, printing, mail, travel, and office equipment. Evaluating work performance of subordinates; give advice, counsel or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
