Presents programs to multi-generational audiences through a variety of media to build support for management goals. Oversees the park's social media, web based, distance learning, and digital technology programs. Plans, directs, coordinates, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of interpretive programs. Performs overall work planning, establishes work schedules and priorities, and assign and review work.
Develops performance standards and evaluates the performance of staff members. Make recommendations and draft justifications for NPS funds. Evaluates the various interpretive programs and develops proposed changes to accommodate changing visitation use trends.
Supervise a team of employees and volunteers tasked with performing Recreation Fee Program related duties including assigning work, preparing schedules, evaluating work performance, effect minor disciplinary measures, interview candidates for positions in the unit; recommend appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions.
Serve as a technical authority for the resolution of especially difficult or sensitive technical problems associated with the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fee revenue and donations.
