At the full performance level (GS-11) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: The incumbent of this position serves as the Supervisory Park Ranger (Site Manager) at Ninety Six National Historic Site, located in Ninety Six, SC.
The Site Manager is a member of the parks group leadership team reporting directly to the Superintendent at Cowpens National Battlefield (COWP) and Kings MountainNational Military Park (KIMO), approximately 1.25 hours from the site. The incumbent must be self-directed and able to perform duties independently with broad supervisory guidance.
The Site Manager is the principal line officer physically present on site, overseeing park operations and work carried out by non-supervisory personnel. Incumbent works collaboratively with the parks group Division Chiefs to carry out programs and operations at the site such as resource preservation, education and interpretation, administration, maintenance, safety management, partnerships, public affairs, budget planning and execution, and site development.

Transcripts must include your name, school name, grades, credit hours earned, major(s), grade point average or class ranking, and date the degree was conferred, if applicable. A typed list of courses, grades, semester/quarter hours, GPA, etc. will not be accepted. Non-submission may result in being rated not qualified for the position.
Unofficial transcripts are acceptable, but if you are selected for this position and you used your education to qualify, you must provide official transcripts before you begin work.
Foreign Education: To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.
