Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a(n) Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist, you will: Provide leadership and oversight to assigned staff to ensure accountability, effective performance, and accomplishment of organizational objectives. Direct workforce operations to maintain staffing readiness, support employee development, and ensure continuity of program activities.
Provide technical direction for nationwide personnel suitability activities and translates federal security requirements into agency-wide operational processes. Advise leadership and external partners on significant security matters and develop solutions to emerging regulatory, operational, and program challenges.
Requirements & Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
