The purpose of this position is to serve as the Clinical Director and oversee the Division of Clinical Services to exercise managerial responsibility for planning, development, organization, integration, administration, and evaluation of the clinical services including Primary Care, Dental, Radiology, Laboratory, Optometry, Pharmacy and Behavioral Health. Leads clinical quality, accreditation, and risk-management activities, overseeing medical audits and credentialing, implementing quality improvement plans, and addressing patient grievances, incidents, and risk concerns.
Plans and manages clinical programs, resources, and departmental operations, including developing and implementing policies and procedures, expanding or contracting patient-care services, determining resource requirements, managing budgets and contracts, and advising on equipment and facility needs.
Provides comprehensive direct primary care across the lifespan, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, referrals and transfers, trauma and wound management, basic orthopedic procedures, prenatal/postpartum care, and family-planning services within established clinical privileges.
Collaborates with organizational and community partners to ensure coordinated patient care, working with nursing, ancillary services, other providers and facilities, case managers, social services, leadership, and tribal programs while maintaining accurate health records and promoting patient and community education.
