The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to HQ ACC/A3JC TACP Branch.
Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of HQ ACC A3J TACP Branch, ensuring that TACP mission area complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents HQ ACC/A3J with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Serves as the TACP Weapon System Combat Air Forces (CAF) Lead and HQ ACC Functional Area Manager (FAM) for Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Forces within the HQ Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Joint Integration and Personnel Recovery Division (A3J).
At the agency level performs budget formulation procedures/processes involving independent assessments and preparations of complex detailed analyses, budget estimates, special reports, and other documentation for a segment of the Air Combat Command budget. Executes post-award contract performance management actions on assigned contracts.
This position is with Air Combat Command, Department of the Air Force.
