The Finger Lakes Health Care System is recruiting for a Supervisory Program Specialist - Credentialing And Privileging Manager, located in Bath VA Medical Center.
Duties include, but limited to: Monitoring of facility level credentialing and privileging program resources to ensure programs are appropriately staffed. Advises, compiles, analyzes, and synthesizes program performance data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities. Assess, monitor, and provide follow up for issue briefs concerning credentialing and privileging issues. Proactively identify risks noted during monitoring and oversight of the credentialing and privileging program. Provide oversight reports, consultation, guidance, and monitoring of facility programs. Serving as primary contact for questions, concerns, and guidance related to facility level credentialing and privileging programs. Provides education and training for facility credentialing specialists, facility leadership, human resource staff, quality managers, and others who are impacted by the credentialing and/or privileging processes. Independently investigates extremely complex issues, analyze problems, and present both written and oral recommendations to leadership. Perform ongoing monitoring and auditing of facility level Credentialing and Privileging programs. Other duties as needed and assigned.
