Job Summary
This position serves as Deputy Chief of Debt Operations for the Nationwide Central Intake Facility (NCIF) of the Debt Collection Management Staff, providing day-to day management and operational oversight of the NCIF and related debt-collection management functions. It advises the Chief of NCIF, DCM and senior leadership on policy implementation and program improvements to strengthen the Department's debt collection operations.
Key Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Program Specialist, GS-0301-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide leadership and operational oversight of the NCIF and related debt-collection management functions. Manage staff, support workforce development, and build a high-performing, mission-focused team.
Direct program planning, performance evaluation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and accountability. Serve as the primary liaison to federal agencies and stakeholders, coordinating debt collection efforts, resolving complex issues, and promoting collaboration.
