This position is located at the Deputy Division Director for the Human Resource Branch of the Mission Support Division of Region 2 in New York, NY. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced at the supervisory level with human capital management (including recruitment experience), with incident support planning for disaster events, workload analysis, time and attendance administration and be skilled with oversight of performance management.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as the Region 2 Human Resources Branch Chief/Associate Deputy Division Director of Human Resource Branch, providing a broad range of infrastructure support to other divisions, external customers, and stakeholders.
Typical assignments include: Operating, administrating, planning and coordinating of activities performed across the divisions at the regional level and provide an effective analytical capability for assessing divisional functions, including oversight of the Mission Support Division Human Resource operations, business processes and system solutions. Coordinating or overseeing work and exercises significant in dealing with officials of other Divisions.
Establishing guidelines and performance expectations for staff members, which are clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system. Resolving informal complaints, grievances, counsel workers, and providing advice related to work and administrative matters. Enterprise workload analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
