The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Deputy Director, USCENTCOM Public Affairs, sharing with the Director of Public Affairs (an O-6 or equivalent position) the full scope of responsibility for managing the activities of the directorate.

Key Responsibilities

Serves as the "alter ego" for the Director of USCENTCOM Public Affairs, planning, organizing, and managing the activities of the directorate. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the USCENTCOM Public Affairs Directorate with a variety of command and functional area organizations. Serves as the CCPA Reserve Force and Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) manager.
