About the Position: Serves as Chief, Public Affairs Office (PAO) for the District, responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of the public affairs program. Incumbent serves as personal adviser to the Commander and primary staff concerning the public affairs program and communications issues Command-wide. The incumbent plans, designs, executes, and evaluates the overall Public Affairs program, independently determining the methods and approaches to be used.

Acts as primary consultant to District Commander and executive staff, senior staff chiefs and other district staff, and public affairs staff in the district office on public affairs matters.
