This position is located in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Patent Operations, Office of the Assistant Deputy Commissioner for Patent Operations, Office of Application Processing for Patents (OAPP), Office of Patent Application Processing (OPAP).
The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year. The individual selected for this position will be... Planning, directing, managing, and supervising the functions and daily operations of the Branch. Promoting the development of sound recommendations and solutions to problems while incorporating innovative processes and maximizing the use of technology. Advising and providing counsel to employees regarding, policies, procedures, and directives of management. Communicating with team leads and internal customers on the resolution of PASM tickets and providing notifications to requesters when issues are resolved or cannot be corrected.
