Job Summary

This position is part of the WAPA-DSW-Desert Southwest. As Supervisory Realty Specialist, you will manage realty within the Natural Resources organization of the DSW Region of WAPA. Manages, plans and coordinates work activities related to the acquisition and management of land and land rights for the construction, operation, and maintenance of regional facilities. **THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. YOU MUST PHYSICALLY REPORT TO THE LOCATION LISTED IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT**

Key Responsibilities

As a Supervisory Realty Specialist, Supervisory Realty Specialist, some of your duties will include, but are not limited to: Supports maintenance, construction, environmental, and vegetation management activities. Provides oversight, guidance, and coordination of activities for work assigned to the region's realty staff. Advises management of potential controversies associated with land acquisition tasks and negotiation strategies.

Meets with private landowners and representatives of local, county, State, Federal and Tribal government to discuss existing landowners to ensure safe and reliable operations and maintenance of the region's transmission facilities. Serves as a first line supervisor over approximately three Federal employees as well as contractor and support personnel.
