The primary purpose of this position is to exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the Child and Youth Services Flight activities assigned to the Force Support Squadron. Provides focus and direction for support services contributing to the mission readiness, resilience and well-being of the military force and family members.
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and Child and Youth Services Flight objectives. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other base organizations, senior leadership, squadron commanders, and representatives from other military services.
Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for child and youth services programs to ensure operations are in line with regulatory and fiscal requirements, support goals, and mission requirements. Develops, monitors, and analyzes applicable statistical data to track operating programs, evaluate their effectiveness and applicability to strategic goals, and plan improvements.
