The primary purpose of this position is: Provides an overall safe and healthy environment to stimulate and sustain the interest of youth; full oversight of organized educational, developmental and recreational programs for ages 3 to 18.
Serves as the Youth Programs Director for a diversified child care, educational andrecreational program at JBSA, which comprised of active and retired military family members andauthorized DoD civilians, including contract personnel. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Prepares APF and NAF budget and analyzes and tracks financialstatements, which include expenditures required to conduct the youth and teen programs.
Directly supervises and administers fire, safety and healthy programs and facilitymanagement. Directs and provide oversight to all aspects of recurring and non-recurring activities, special events and joint military and civilian community partnerships undertakings to ensure make maximum use of facilities, services, and other resources.
