The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Command Equipment Management Office (CEMO)/Command Mobility Manager for various weapon system platforms for the Logistics Readiness Division(A4R).
Key Responsibilities
Initiates, plans, develops, documents, and implements the activities of the Vehicle and Equipment Management branch ensuring that Support Equipment (SE)/Mobility Equipment (ME) complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Serves as the AMC/MAF Command SE/ME Management subject matter expert.
Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with HAF, AFMC, DLA, other MAJCOM staffs, Supply Chain Operations Wing (SCOW), AFLCMC, AFIMSC, and other Enterprise Office and Support Centers as required.
Performs Major Command Headquarters staff functions, prepares briefings, point papers, and other written/electronic staff work to include Task Management Tool (TMT); attending meetings, working groups, and operational planning teams; and serving on special details.
This position is with Air Mobility Command, Department of the Air Force.
