The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Logistic Readiness Squadron.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the HazMat sections, ensuring that supply work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to leadership and employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of hazardous materiel's management.
Represents the Logistics Readiness Squadron sections within a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Mission essential personnel, manages the overall hazardous materiel program and supply interface, resolves supply support problems, reviews reports, and coordinates supply related training needs for decentralized supply support personnel.
