The primary purpose of this position is to manage and provide expertise in support of supply programs within the Logistics Rediness Squadron. Identifies and resolves deficiencies through analysis and surveillance programs; monitors the preparation for and follow-up action on inspections, audits and staff visits.
Manages the Quality Assurance (QA) Program. Oversees the inspections of multiple inspectors to ensure all areas are accomplishing their required support functions in compliance with established policy and procedures. Manages surveillance and Internal Management Control Programs. Conducts scheduled and unscheduled surveillance and quality control visits within numerous operational sections within the Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) as required.
Monitors supply systems activities. Designs and develops information retrieval using standard report generators, structured query language processors and other program applications. Provides supply system maintenance and troubleshooting. Resolves supply system problems beyond the capability of supported organization personnel, both internal to the Logistics Readiness Squadron and external customers, to manage/initiate corrective action.
