This position is located in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO), Office of Administrative Services (OAS). The OCAO provides leadership, policies, programs, services and systems necessary to meet the administrative support needs of the USPTO workforce. The OAS is responsible for administering a broad range of administrative and USPTO employee support services.
The physical worksite for this position is located in San Jose, CA or Dallas, TX. Presence at the physical worksite is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year. This position is right for you if: You are eager to plan and coordinate regional meetings, conferences and facility activities. You value the importance of issuing and activating PIV cards and vetting of visitors into controlled spaces. You enjoy coordinating an asset management program, including receipt, inventory, tracking and disposal of government-owned property. You enjoy providing oversight of daily mailroom and distribution operations for the regional office. You are excited to serve as the regional point of contact for printing and reproduction requests covering signage, correspondence, briefing materials and publications. You are interested in implementing policies, procedures and program guidance for administrative services at the regional office. You are inspired by conducting special studies and cross-functional projects.
