You will serve as a Support Services Supervisor with the Department of the Interior (DOI), Office of Facilities and Administrative Service (OFAS). You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 3 nights per month. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Oversee and direct OS-wide Personal Property program operations, including inventory management, reporting, audits, Board of Survey actions, firearms accountability, property disposal, and property system administration in FBMS.
Manage and supervise OS-PMB Fleet program operations, including acquisition, disposal, reporting, customer agreements, and fleet data management in FBMS, FMVRS, and related systems. Provide supervisory leadership for the Personal Property & Fleet Branch, including staffing, hiring actions, establishing priorities, assigning work, performance management, employee development, and discipline.
Direct development and implementation of program guidance, including interpreting federal laws, regulations, Executive Orders, GSA Bulletins, and DOI policies to establish administrative requirements for property and fleet programs. Conduct long-range and short-range program studies, recommending organizational, workflow, and procedural changes to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational quality standards.
Oversee development of manuals, handbooks, operational procedures, and training to ensure program compliance and consistent service delivery. Represent OFAS and the Administrative Services Division at high-level meetings, interagency councils, and task forces, providing expert advice and negotiating improvements to Personal Property and Fleet programs.
Manage budget execution for managed programs, including development of budget requests, monitoring expenditures (~$3M), reviewing procurement needs, and recommending financial adjustments to support program operations.
This position does not allow substituting education for experience.

The posted pay range is $143913 – $187093/yr.
