The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Technical Training Instructor and first-level supervisor providing planning and direction to, organizing work for, and exercising control over assigned nonsupervisory subordinate employees.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Systems Apprentice course, ensuring that the course taught complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Develops and/or revises lesson plans and training materials. Instructs students through assigned blocks of instruction at basic and/or advanced technical/administrative levels. Represents the Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Systems Apprentice course with a variety of installation and functional area organizations and works on special projects as directed.
