The position is located within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Financial Services Center, Chief Experience Office where the incumbent serves as the Systems and Procedures Analyst and is responsible for executing the systems, policy, and procedures required to effectively manage execution of the FMBT Customer Support service delivery for iFAMS deployment waves
Ensure legislation, policy, procedures and resources are utilized to their fullest necessary to accomplish the mission. Lead the effort of the iFAMS Customer Support program for wave implementation and or sustainment. Provide customer service advice to the Customer Experience Director, program officials and/or other specialists regarding FSC programs, which impact the implementation of the iFAMS system. Perform rigorous business testing of the to be solution, such as user acceptance testing (UAT), end to end testing, regression testing, integration testing, enhancements and validation testing. Provide financial analysis and prepares definitive reports and guidance regarding financial policy, systems and operational aspects of internal agency programs. Develop program guidance on current financial and Federal shared services initiatives. Exercise originality and produce guidance to cover new and unique problems. Recommend new or revised legislation deemed necessary to improve VA financial, policies, systems, data and operation Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30 pm Compressed/Flexible: Available if management approved Telework: Ad-hoc/situational Telework available if management approved Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
