WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Technical Writer-Editor, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Serving as a technical expert who writes and edits products that articulate, interpret, and explain complex or potentially controversial policies, programs, and research findings.
Reviewing and analyzing information from multiple sources, reconciling contradictions, evaluating contributions for clarity, and ensuring that conclusions are consistent with the facts presented. Working with authors to obtain acceptance of major revisions in the approach and content of manuscripts.
Authorizing clearance of scientific and technical materials for publication and developing or making available policies, procedures, and instructions governing the clearance process.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
