Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a technical advisor to local installation users in the area of operations and maintenance as related to tactical radio and SATCOM systems.

Key Responsibilities

Tactical radio and SATCOM subject matter expert. Operates and maintains the tactical radio and SATCOM assets assigned to the 48th Communication Squadron, 48th Fighter Squadrons, and all applicable units on base. Base Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) systems administrator and operator. Administers and maintains assigned ELMR equipment and network systems used to provide command and control communications.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot base mass notification system and public address equipment. Maintain and troubleshoot for communication equipment. Interacts with USAFE representatives, manufacturers' representatives, and field unit personnel to resolve equipment and system issues.
