Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Training and Development, Field Operations Academy, located in Glynco, GA. Joining U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Training and Development, Field Operations Academy will allow you use your specialized experience to support leadership training development and instruction. This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10). Major Duties includes: Instructing and directing students at the GS-13 to GS-15 grade level by providing training, facilitating group discussions, and providing feedback to students. Analyzing course content to design and develop changes to instructional techniques that better meet the needs of the organization. Developing and revising curriculum to include learning objectives, lesson content, and any associated training aids. Researching the latest concepts, methods, and techniques for increasing an employee's comprehension and application of information.
