Key Responsibilities

Serving as a Training Administrator GS-1712-11/12 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Ops, Training Management Operations Directorate, Training Resources Coordination Division, Training Resources Scheduling Branch, located in Glynco, Georgia.

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the effective planning, development, scheduling, and coordination of training programs and resources at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC). This role supports the successful delivery of law enforcement training to a large and diverse student population, ensuring that training facilities, instructional resources, and program sequencing are optimized to meet the needs of multiple simultaneous training programs.

Typical duties include: Planning, developing and coordinating training schedules for law enforcement training programs, ensuring the efficient utilization of training facilities, instructional resources, and personnel. Applying analytical and evaluative methods to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of training program support, including scheduling, resource use, and program operations.

Advising stakeholders on training policies, procedures, and resource requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications; applicant's resumes and supporting documentation should only reflect education received from schools accredited by such institutions.
