The Infrastructure Operations Division focuses on protecting critical infrastructure from all hazards by managing risk and enhancing resilience through collaboration with the critical infrastructure community, which includes private sector owners, operators, and employees; State, local, tribal, and territorial officials; and other Federal agencies.
Typical work assignments at the full performance level include, but are not limited to: Sharing in planning, development, monitoring, conduct, and evaluation of critical infrastructure security and resilience related exercises.
Facilitating exercise planning meetings and communicates with other key personnel to develop exercise design elements, recommend courses of action based on previous exercises, and potential recognizable shortfalls as they relate to the exercise in compliance with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP).
Generating exercise related presentations, such as the exercise Brief Slide Deck, to facilitate a guided discussion, walking players through the scenario, modules, and discussion question. Creating briefings to capture exercise related information, providing awareness to regional leadership, making them aware of key exercise elements and any potential necessary actions within the regional area of responsibility.
Representing CISA by speaking on regional Training and Exercise initiatives, opportunities, and events at working groups, conferences, interagency meetings, and other forums. Directing exercise operations and facilitates successful exercise conduct. Coordinating regional training deliveries. Disseminating training resource information to partners and stakeholders. Foreign Service Spouses Only: This position is remote work and telework eligible consistent with the Agency's telework and remote work program policy. Applicants who live within the local commuting area (i.e., a 50-mile or less radius from Glebe Road, Arlington VA (not driving distance)) are eligible for 100% telework in accordance with agency policy.

The posted pay range is $76463 – $118204/yr.
