You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY to include work sites of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Applicants will only be considered for positions within their own UIC. For example: If you are within UIC 4523A, you will only be considered for positions within 4523A.
You will conduct need assessments and task analyses to determine learning objectives.
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Substitution of education for GS-09: Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows: Completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.) ~OR~ Completion of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.) ~OR~ Completion of a LL.B. or J.D., if related (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.) Substitution of education for GS-11: Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows: Completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.) ~OR~ 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.) ~OR~ LL.M., if related (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)
