The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a training instructor, responsible for the direct delivery of instruction and training services of a non-professional nature in the area of personnel policies and practices, computer application, management, leadership and administration.
Conducts training courses. Secures classroom space and provides input for announcement of upcoming classes. Ensures training equipment is operational and supplies are available. Improves and updates education and training materials. In conjunction with Training Specialist and subject matter experts, incumbent participates in the development of programs of instruction and/or new course materials. Reviews training source material.
Performs duties associated with developing, revising, maintaining, and/or instructing training courses. Monitors and evaluates student progress in courses. Develops and implements evaluation procedures to ensure effectiveness of training.
