Serving as a Training Registration Specialist GS-0301-9 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Ops (TOPS), Training Management Operations Directorate (TMO), Training Resources Coordination Division (TRC), Training Resources Analysis and Allocations Branch (TRAAB), located in Glynco, Georgia.
The primary purpose of this position is to support of the TRC Training Administrator (Registration) in the management of the agency training projections, allocations and registration for all Center Basic and Center Advanced Programs on the FLETC enterprise ensuring all classes run at optimal capacity.
Typical duties include: Providing administrative assistance to the Training Administrator (Registration) support of the Training Administrator (Registration) in the management of the agency training projections, allocations, and registration for all Center Basic and Center Advanced Programs on the FLETC enterprise ensuring all classes run at optimal capacity.
Making recommendations to the appropriate Training Delivery Point and Training Management Division Chief any additional training programs to fill a backlog of agency training requests. Enforcing the regulatory report date requirements for pre-registration rosters and notifying agencies when FLETC registration policy has been violated for past due rosters and ensuring all agencies are aware of and comply with the pre-registration procedures.
Using the Student Administration Scheduling System (SASS) in order to obtain class registration information. Ensuring that contractual agreements with Educational Aid contractors are not violated due to missed deadlines or insufficient information and providing assistance with verifying monthly bills for accuracy and completeness.
