THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAINING TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number D2066000 and is part of the PA Army Aviation Support Facility 1, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. INDEFINITE Position may lead to permanent assignment without further advertisement.

Key Responsibilities

As a TRAINING TECHNICIAN, GS-1702-09, you will provide technical guidance and assistance to subordinate elements, the headquarters operations section, and other staff sections in planning, coordinating, preparing, conducting, and documenting individual and collective training. Serve as the technical specialist in readiness reporting for the organization. Manage and oversee the administration of the command's school program.

Make recommendations and assist in the preparation of yearly training budget requirements for submission to higher headquarters based on yearly training guidance and training calendar. Ensure the proper forecasting, allocation, and usage of training ammunition within the command. Assist in the preparation of plans and procedures for anti-terrorism/force protection and military support to civil authorities.

Provide input to the training officer for the assignment of work within the training and operations section. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Education

If you are using Education to qualify for this position, Army National Guard Officer Technicians - A high school diploma and a college degree are mandatory. An academic undergraduate degree with courses in education, grammar and composition, speech, psychology, guidance, and sociology; or, social and behavioral sciences is mandatory. You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.

To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
