This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, Marketing Office, Fairchild AFB, WA. Primary purpose for this position: Responsible for developing original designs, concepts or visual styles for publications, web pages, presentation materials, on-base advertisements, and other media. This is a Regular Full-Time position.

Responsible for developing original designs, concepts or visual styles for publications, web pages, presentation materials, on-base advertisements, and other media. Execute designs and layouts using the Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency, with an emphasis on Adobe Illustrator, as well as Photoshop and InDesign. Develops creative designs & layouts for the Venture magazine every month, according to the print schedule, and submits the print files to the printer.
Specifies technical advice, data, and support to meet the requirements of outside agencies for printing. Works with Marketing Assistants on the design of effective advertising vehicles and appropriate media mixes. Creates physical marketing pieces, to include posters, fliers, business cards, brochures, booklets, and more; operates equipment such as printers, laminators, mounters, folders, cutters, etc., safely and effectively.
Designs professional ads for commercial enterprises wishing to place and advertisement in the Venture. Use own judgment, creativity and expertise in layout and design. Produces promotional materials, illustrations, charts, infographics, and maps. Ensure all products are in proper format and arranged properly. Organizes brand and creative resources in the established organizational structure.
Communicates progress, initiatives, obstacles, and graphics trends to the marketing director. Leads the graphic direction and branding of squadron wide initiatives and campaigns.
