This position is located in the Wellness Center within Division of Community Health Services at the Crownpoint Service Unit, Crownpoint New Mexico. The purpose of the position is to lead in integrating comprehensive and cost-effective wellness and prevention strategies into current business and clinical practices, promoting patient self-management to improve the health of the patient population. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R.
37.5 (2021).
Coordinates with program staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of health promotion programs and training including youth programs and local community recreation fitness programs. Coordinates curriculum development for patient education and health promotion classes. Oversees health promotion processes and supports health promotion liaison personnel.
Functions as team leader, responsible for coordinating the efforts of the hospital in implementing integrated and comprehensive health promotion programs and policies. Coordinates marketing and media support for events.
